Why peel your own grapes?

People are often a little sceptical when I talk about the future being in hi-tech, hi-skilled jobs and how the UK and Bristol are well-placed to take advantage of this. Well here's some proof. We should be really proud of such achievements.

Er...Kerry

The pioneering machine, dubbed 'Robodoc', was first developed in the U.S. in 2003.

There are now almost 900 working units across the world, but only a handful currently in use in the UK

Don't be too proud. In fact, be ashamed. You are the one of the 646 that can change things and you haven't.

Actually, that's a fair enough point. I wrote my piece after reading about this in the BEP, which implied otherwise, but then linked to the DM article which makes the background clear.

However... they are developing robots at UWE, which I've seen, and there's some really ground-breaking work going on there.
