Question for bloggers

Where are the female equivalents of Guido, Old Holborn, the Penguin, etc in the blogosphere? And if they don't exist, why do you think that is? (I don't mean female bloggers in general, there's plenty of them).

What desperate (and possibly sexist) point were you trying to make Kerry?

Does he know any good vegan restaurants?

I've been away for a few days and am just catching up on your blog- I've detected a considerable softening in your attitude towards Old Holborn. You have declined his offer to contribute to his blog but your comment above suggests you have not entirely ruled out the suggestion of a dinner date?

I should warn you that the picture on his posts is not actually him and that he loves eating vegans.

Aaah but those examples of female bloggers won't count, Kerry will surely find something 'wrong' with them, like lots of lefty's did about Dr Condoleeza Rice - referred to so often as a 'token' by them.

Are we talking quotas here and if so, how many would be needed in each category of multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-sexual, multi-ageing? I really don't care who blogs but I do care about the content.

Oh, bugger.

Sadie's Tavern is pretty damn good.

Kerry said...

Poor Sadie, what has she done to deserve that?

Kerry said...

Actually, maybe some of you have been taking Sadie rather too literally?

"The fact that the pinko commies at the Beeb are behind this unwarranted intrusion into this man's personal life (his unwarranted intrusion into his secretary's life is, naturally, not the issue here) comes as no surprise to those of us who have long suspected David Dimbleby and Jennie Bond of being hardline Marxists. And Fiona Bruce? She's watching us. They are ALL watching us."

I'm in Bristol soon Kerry. As long as you don't bring the Brownshirts who threw Walter Wolfgang out of your conference for daring to say "rubbish" to Jack Straw and then used anti terrorist legislation to stop him criticising your party, I'm willing to offer you a pint of non alcoholic organic nettle beer and some lentil crisps in the local of your choice.

Unless of course, a woman being out in the company of a man who is not a direct relative might offend your "constituents".

I was going to suggest taking him on a Somali cafe crawl... I'm sure he'd receive a warm welcome.
