Personally I think having a particular branch of religion associated with the state is pretty divisive, and archaic to boot.

I find it deeply worrying that people whose main qualification is believing in an imaginary friend, should have any influence in the Lords as well.

That long word,bring it on!

No long work, over 400 years we have been trying to disestablish the church from the state. This country has got one of the most archaic non-constitutions in the democratic world. Lets get on with disestablishment and replace the House of Lords with an elected chamber.
