Had a letter in the internal post today saying Theresa May is visiting my constituency tomorrow. Will be interesting to see if the visit is in connection with her new Work and Pensions role - in which case it means she must have been told before the weekend. Or maybe she's just off to Harvey Nicks. (Not in my constituency, but the "award-winning" carpark is).

Labour lies. That car park has won no awards and you know it.
I think if the shopping centre wins an award for being 'the best in the world', the car park - an integral part of the shopping experience for many people - deserves its share of the glory.
In fact, were the shopping centre to make a Kate Winslet style acceptance speech, I am sure it would acknowledge this fact, between sobs.

OK, from now on boys, I will cease to rely on "ironic" quotation marks to convey my true meaning, and will spell it out for you very slowly and very carefully, and then you won't get all confused.
Perhaps I need to start putting things in "ironic" quotation marks?
The award winning car park is the one at Millenium Square - or am I misinformed or unspun?
Unfortunately the concert hall that it was designed to serve was never built
That is so typical of you Paul. Trying to steal my glory.
Is this car park envy?
The reality seems to be that it's the Lib Dem who has the award-winning car park in his constituency ...
But he wasn't MP when it was built, so he's disqualified!
Although knowing the Lib Dems, they'll almost certainly take credit for it.
It's Valerie Davey's legacy then. Strangely appropriate.
I've got her DVD somewhere ...
Val is a wonderful woman. Still very active in the voluntary sector in bristol, including the credit union.
car park was approved when William Waldegrave was MP for Bristol West
