One of my regulars on here, professional northerner Northern Lights, has now decided he can do better. [P.S. This is it - www.snowjoke.blogspot.com - can't get the link to work.]

Thirdly: I might just randomly delete comments from certain people because I'm getting thoroughly fed up with them and want them to go away and annoy someone else for a while. You know who you are.
That's all - although I reserve the right to create new rules as and when I feel like it. My blog = my rules!

you could say that the light has gone out
Was that deliberate? Did you realise that was a two-sentence posting in which you made a sarcastic comment about the abilities of another blogger and posted a link that doesn't work?
Irony thy name might not be Kerry MaCarthy.
I wasn't being sarcastic at all. He's my favourite person on here.
And you're right, my name isn't MaCarthy.
A crass error given that I reach this blog by typing your name correctly into Google. Most likely I was thinking subconsciously of someone with the surname Mackay.
Looking at your post again, I still think it's reasonable to read sarcasm in it, even if the intention was different ('thee', 'professional northener' seem patronising and the way the link emphasised 'see if he can do better'). Perhaps that's just how you banter with him.
I don't know your attitude towards a commenter like NL. I would have to follow your blog a lot more closely to learn such things, and neither of us want that.
If you look at his site you will see that 'I tell thee now' is what it's called, and he's rather keen to emphasise his northern-ness.
He's (almost) the only person on here who every says anything nice about the government.
"He's my favourite person on here."
I am hurt
I don't regard you as someone 'on here' - you exist off here too.
You're my favourite person standing in Bristol West at the next election. Speaking of which... shouldn't you be commenting on a different post?
Can't get the link to work, can't get the debt markets to work, can't get the workers to work....
Whatever next? I sincerely hope you lot can get the general election to work!
Yes, you're right - the link someone forwarded to me doesn't work. The only honourable response is for me to apply for the Chiltern Hundreds forthwith. It's been nice knowing you.
