Thirdly: I might just randomly delete comments from certain people because I'm getting thoroughly fed up with them and want them to go away and annoy someone else for a while. You know who you are.
That's all - although I reserve the right to create new rules as and when I feel like it. My blog = my rules!

Cor, Labour's Class War that according to Gordon isn't a Class War is really underway, isn't it?
Bryan Ferry comes from mining stock, doesn't he? It's not a class issue with Otis Ferry it's the fact he's an objectionable brat.
The stock his father comes from is pretty irrelevant though, it doesn't stop there being a blatant class issue here: I expect you find him objectionable mainly because his views are typically upper-class, he's wearing a hunting jacket in the photo, he's pro-fox hunting, he had dinner with Cameron, he shouted abuse at Tony Blair, and it's probably the kind of person (class-wise) you've been told to rag on by LabHQ.
I don't think it's about class warfare with him. If my son (same age as Otis) talked about other people like that I'd be ashamed.
Stuff the supposed class war.
Stuff all the petty pointscoring between MP's
The cold harsh reality is that the shortfall between what our Government is spending in this current year and what it raised in taxation is £200 Billion, yes BILLION.
Their spending is £600billion and the income raised £400billion. All the promises and suggestions on cuts and savings thus far would reduce this by only a tiny percentage.
We are in deep deep s--t.
And presumably you're aware of the Govt's Deficit Reduction Strategy?
And presumably you're aware of the Govt's Deficit Reduction Strategy?
To reduce the deficit that um, who exactly built up? Ah yes, why, it was the government, wasn't it.
Sounds rather like McDonalds, Burger King, and KFC announcing an Obesity Reduction Strategy. Barn door and horse spring to mind.
What is particularly galling is Gordon laying out the choice of the party of cuts being the Tories and the party of investment being Labour, when he knows (and worse, he knows that we know) that any party will have to make huge cuts to have even a chicken in hell's chance of reducing the deficit, due to the borrowing that he racked up. So what's the plan if Labour are voted back in? Increase the debt further? Or do they then admit that they lied to the electorate and that actually they'll have to make cuts and increase taxes just as they poured scorn on the Tories for suggesting? Such deceitfulness is nothing short of disgraceful.
History appears to teach us that this is what happens when you put a Labour government in charge of the piggy bank.
IS that meant to be a picture of me? Because it isn't.
Based on photos now that doesn't look like Kerry I must admit.
I'm hoping Kerry can post up a photo of her in her punk days. I bet she'd look a lot cooler than Darling or Brown as youngsters :-)
Kerry,
You may well find it funny on Twitter/Lady Smiff, that you weren't a goth, but you've given us all a challenge, and were now searching high and low around all of your Old Haunts, and you will turn up eventually, as your now too prominent a figure to hide for long.
Hope it's not a bad pic we find!!!
The Party Girls/Jesus Christ Supercharger eh? New one on me, although I can vaguely remember U.K.Decay. Touch before my time though.
There are actually virtually no photos of me from those days. I've always hated having my picture taken!
UK Decay reformed a few years ago, with Ray from the Party Girls on drums to replace the sadly-deceased Steve Harle. Ray is officially one of my best mates, was doing karaoke with him on Saturday. Might put those pics on Facebook but again, I've been very careful not to be in any of them!
I will probably be at their annual reunion in Luton February, other commitments permitting...
Incidentally, gossip fans, Abbo and Cerys Matthews of Catatonia fame are now an item; have just had a baby in fact.
OK. I've removed the comment which linked to a Goth pic, as it turns out to have been lifted from somewhere it shouldn't have been, and someone's child is in the pic. Bad form, Don't Give up the Day Job.
I can't allow that last comment because it links to the picture again... you're saying it wasn't lifted from anywhere, yes it was even if you found it through Google. I'm pretty sure somewhere on the UKDK site there's a recent picture of me with two of my sisters at a UKDK reunion... why not go on the hunt for that instead?
Yeah but that's the point Kerry, we know what you look like today, it's twenty five years ago that's got our attention.
On a genuine musical topic. U.K.Decay are described on their website as the first British Goth band, and I'm a touch confused, because they neither look, Nor Sound very Gothic to me.
Now O.K. goth wasn't defined then as it is today, but the Virgin Prunes seem to have had things much more together at the time, to be genuinely described as the break through of "Goth".
Or were they Irish, I'm not quite sure.
Virgin prunes were Irish.
The Black Cat EP, For Madmen Only... I'd say they were quite gothy, but more goth-punk than fully-fledged Sisters of Mercy type goths.
I just went away and had a listen to some of U.K. Decays material, and what struck me was Unexpected Guest has a awfully similar riff to that of a certain Marilyn Manson song.
It's almost As bad as this
Sisters of Mercy
* goes to put on Temple of Love, the one with the Ofra Haza vocal...bliss
Forget photos of Kerry. What we want is that Blockbusters appearance. TV gold ...
I can only assume that you know about Blockbusters because I told you... that wasn't sensible! My mother has it on a video tape, following Jesus Christ Superstar. The only question I can remember answering is the maths one; the answer was five.
