It's the Fighters and Believers who change our world..

If you haven't seen the latest Labour Party broadcast, here it is. And me, backing the campaign on Labour List and Alistair Campbell congratulating Ellie on succeeding 'against the odds' in getting the film - which was first shown in its original form before the Leader's speech at Labour Conference - broadcast on national television. (Also worth reading for Alistair's sideswipe at William Hague for effectively backing a centre-right candidate for EU president who wants to introduce EU-wide taxes).

And yes, I accept this is not much of a comeback after more than a week's absence from the blog, but at least it's a start. I'm confined to barracks this weekend with a severe case of what the unsympathetic amongst you might term "man flu", and I have remembered to bring my dongle back from London, and the TV is still not working, so no excuse not to blog...

Regarding the title of your blog, the story behind my song "Gordon Brown be my Angel" is that I am a fighter and believer as one of the violated women that the UK has seen in the past 124 years, telling my MP and the rest of Parliament that it's important to learn to protect citizens from criminal harm better in the next 124 years than in the past 124 years by making the legal system more straightforward in enforcing a law written since 124 years ago, clarified in 2003 and enforced in 2006 in the H. S. Jheeta case.

Brahms Lullaby

Gordon Brown! Gordon Brown!
Will you be my angel?
Guardian angel is what I meant
Will you rescue my soul?

For you are in charge
Of these people I wrote to
Stephen Timms, Jack Straw
Let me place my trust in you

Gordon Brown! MP’s!
Let me sing out loud
For what you do, for my country
For my reproductive system

You right wrongs! My right’s been wronged
I am desperate for you
Not just you! There’s Jon Herring
I’m a violated woman

Gordon Brown, help me sleep!
Help me sleep like a baby
Will my babies ever come out?
Maternal desires!
I lost my womanhood
In a sinister curse
Gordon Brown! Bring it back!
You are perfect for that!

Noted with interest your apparent unwillingness to publish my suggestion that you publicise this broadcast's deceits and lies. To me that makes you dishonourable despite your ridiculous title (Honourable Member indeed), and makes you complicit in those deceits and lies. Shame on you, you are not fit for office.

Seebag, perhaps you haven't sussed out one of this blog's unwritten rules. There are certain blogs I regard as beyond the pale, and anyone attempting to post a link to them will find that their comments are blocked, as I'm not in the business of providing extra publicity for them.

I would have hoped that your motivation for honesty and being straight with the public would overcome any unwillingness to publicise a blog you don't like, but thanks for making clear which takes priority.

PS of course this is now conveniently buried way down your blog
Do you ever entertain the idea of putting something current up along the lines of I was misled or I got it wrong? Oh no of course, I nearly forgot, you don't do requests.

The purpose of the 'From under the Floorboards' section is to highlight the latest comments, whether or not they are on the most recent posts. And as for 'being wrong' - if I choose not to associate this site with the site in question, then I am entirely within my rights to do so. Can I suggest that you spend a bit more time on that site instead of mine, as I think you'd be more at home there. Alternatively you might want to read Stephen Fry's description of people who post comments on blogs (see the From Under the Floorboards post) and reflect upon whether he might be talking about you?

Thanks Kerry, but I'm right at home here exposing your hypocrisy, and if all you can do is throw abuse at someone who does that it says more about you than it does me. I suspect you also know full well that I'm not talking about the rightness or wrongness of you associating your site with another, I'm talking about the veracity of the Labour broadcast and your seeming inability to acknowledge its lies and deceits. You persist in not answering the substantive question.

I don't accept your accusations about the broadcast, and I don't really want you commenting on my site any longer.

oh my God, I'm the only one who will call MPs Angels. This is exactly what I wrote, sang, paid money for, and published, Gordon Brown, MPs, let me sing out loud, Jack Straw and Stephen Timms, will have to help me, be my angel, be my angel, be my angel,

I suppose it's not a complete waste for me to have gone through absolutely hell in my personal life cos then I get to meet great guys like Rt. Hon. Stephen Timms (who is Labour by the way), he does his job and he also makes me smile. I enjoy talking to his Labour Office and feel rather embraced each time.

Hope you're enjoying your TV Kerry! Might as well cos TV licensing people charge you a chunk of money.
