Pirates

Interesting article from the Washington Times about Somaliland and the piracy issue.

Douglas said at the DFID meeting today he'd read an article which mentioned that "piracy paraphenalia" had been confiscated from Somali fishermen... presumably parrots, eyepatches and the Jolly Roger?

You might be interested to know that Somalialand is as Libertarian as a country can get. Just goes to show what damage can be avoided by removing the majority of politicians!

Think you mean Somalia... Somaliland has democratically-elected politicians, and has been relatively peaceful and stable since 1991 when it split from Somalia.
