Christmas cards

Just received a Christmas card from Nick Brown, the Chief Whip... with a painting of the Bullingdon Club on the front and the slogan 'Unity is Strength'. Nice one Nick.
Until now I haven't commented on the Cameron Christmas card, which I found almost offensive (not sure that's the right word, and I guess it's up to him how he uses his family, but I think 'use' was the right word in this instance. Not quite as shameless as being snapped doing his pre-Christmas shopping in Woolies 'though.

Hmmm..., "Unity is strength"...

Whips are, when it comes down to it, the enemies of Democracy, so I think the reply your Constituents would like you to send is most likely "Power to the people".

Groan! I so knew someone was going to say that. There is nothing wrong with shopping at Woolies. There is something very wrong about using the collapse of a high street name and the loss of people's jobs as yet another PR stunt. More concerned with getting his next job than doing something to help others.

You only think what you see.

Mind you, in this day and age he could have been shot.

Hmmm, time for a Google I think - I'm sure there was a Christmas Photo Opportunity or similar featuring Gorgon Broon and his family.

But then, The Great Man has declared that he doesn't use his family as props. So that's OK then.

One official family photo when the second baby was born, to get the paps off the trail... Compared to making breakfast on WebCam? The endless buggy-pushing 'aren't I a normal dad' shots? That Christmas card (what the hell was Christmassy about that?)
