You've got to learn

I know no-one is remotely interested in the Lib Dems, but here's another 'interesting' story. Perhaps they should enrol Nick Clegg for some of these lessons while they're at it?

Have you seen Stephen's comments in the Evening Post, apparently he has been planning public spending cuts for five years - strange that he didn't mention it three years ago when he stood for election:

Stephen Williams backed the marked shift in policy for the party, which would mean £20 billion of spending cuts, insisting it was the best move to help households struggling to pay the bills during the credit crunch.
Bristol West Lib Dem MP Mr Williams said: "It is important that every family feeling the pinch right now knows that we have a practical solution in place to help them.
"Some people are saying this is a radical shift, but I think this is a logical progression of what we have been working

I am sure those households will feel mightily reassured that the Lib Dems are on the case.

Here's the full quote, as you seem to have missed the ending: "It is important that every family feeling the pinch right now knows that we have a practical solution in place to help them. Some people are saying this is a radical shift, but I think this is a logical progression of what we have been working on for the last five years. It is about helping those on the lowest incomes pay their bills."
