Interesting piece by Blur's drummer in the Guardian

He's writing about the effectivness - or lack of - of drugs awareness and treatment programmes. Typically, the heading and sub-heading somewhat sensationalise his real message, which is calling for a drugs strategy based on research, education and harm reduction. There's already a lot of good work being done along these lines in Bristol, but we remain chronically under-funded. Any strategy, whatever its focus, has to be backed by adequate resources. When the Government publishes its new drugs strategy next year, that will be my message.
